"Spoonbill"
Roseate Spoonbill at Ding Darling
National Wildlife Refuge, FL
Just in case you wondered why they are
called spoonbills. This bird was just off the water's edge in the
second pond at Ding. Again, this is probably a second year bird as
the color is light and there are feathers on the head.
Shot on Provia-F film, pushed one stop, with an 600 mm lens at f-4
and 1/400sec.
